''One Step to Eternity'' (French:''Bonnes à tuer'', Italian:''Quattro donne nella notte'') is a 1954 French-Italian thriller film directed by Henri Decoin and starring Danielle Darrieux, Michel Auclair and Corinne Calvet.Rège, Philippe. Henri Decoin
Henri Decoin (18 March 1890 – 4 July 1969) was a French film director and screenwriter, who directed more than 50 films between 1933 and 1964. He was also a swimmer who won the national title in 1911 and held the national record in the 500 m freestyle. He competed in the Swimming at the 1908 Summer Olympics – Men's 400 metre freestyle, 400 m freestyle at the 1908 Summer Olympics and in the Water polo at the 1912 Summer Olympics, water polo tournament at the 1912 Summer Olympics. Biography During World War I, Decoin served as a pilot. After that he worked as a sports journalist for ''L'Équipe, L'Auto'', ''L'Intransigeant'' and ''Paris-Soir''. In 1926 he published his first book, influenced by Dadaism, the experimental and prize-winning ''Quinze Combats'' (''Fifteen Rounds''), in which a boxing match is seen subjectively by a boxer, and in 1933 directed his first film, ''Les requins du pétrole'' (''The Oil Sharks''). Roberto Risso
Roberto Risso (22 November 1925 – 16 November 2010) was a Swiss-born Italian film actor. Life and career Born Pietro Roberto Strub in Geneva, Risso joined the cinema industry when he was still a university student of architecture, playing a minor role in Pietro Francisci's ''The Lion of Amalfi'' (1950). One year later he was chosen to play the seducer of Pier Angeli in ''Tomorrow Is Another Day (1951 Italian film), Tomorrow Is Another Day'', and the success of the film allowed him to play similar roles in a large number of films, mainly romantic comedies. In 1953 Risso touched the peak of his career with the role of the shy Carabinieri, Carabiniere Pietro Stelluti madly in love with Gina Lollobrigida in Luigi Comencini's ''Bread, Love and Dreams'', a role that he reprised in the film sequel ''Bread, Love and Jealousy''.
