Bob's Creek is a river in the James Bay and Abitibi River drainage basins in the community of Porcupine, City of Timmins, Cochrane District in northeastern Ontario, Canada. It flows from Bobs Lake to its mouth at Porcupine Lake, the source of the Porcupine River. Course Bob's Creek begins at the southwest of Bobs Lake at an elevation of and flows southwest. passing under Gervais Street South. It then turns north, heads under a railway line and Haileybury Crescent, and reaches its mouth at Porcupine Lake at an elevation of . James Bay
James Bay (french: Baie James; cr, ᐐᓂᐯᒄ, Wînipekw, dirty water) is a large body of water located on the southern end of Hudson Bay in Canada. Both bodies of water extend from the Arctic Ocean, of which James Bay is the southernmost part. Despite bordering the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Ontario, the bay and the islands within it, the largest of which is Akimiski Island, are politically part of Nunavut. Numerous waterways of the James Bay watershed have been modified with dams or diversion for several major hydroelectric projects. These waterways are also destinations for river-based recreation. Timmins
Timmins ( ) is a city in northeastern Ontario, Canada, located on the Mattagami River. The city is the fourth-largest city in the Northeastern Ontario region with a population of 41,145 (2021). The city's economy is based on natural resource extraction, and is supported by industries related to lumbering, and to the mining of gold, zinc, copper, nickel and silver. Timmins serves as a regional service and distribution centre. The city has a large Francophone community, with more than 50% bilingual in French and English.
