Blue Prince (video Game)
''Blue Prince'' is a puzzle adventure game with strategy, puzzle, and roguelike elements developed by Dogubomb and published by Raw Fury. It was released on April 10, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S systems. The game challenges the player to explore a mansion with ever-shifting rooms that change every day, represented by ad-hoc construction of the mansion's rooms through the drafting of randomized cards representing new rooms, with an initial goal to reach a hidden 46th room. In addition, the mansion includes lore and other mysteries that can be solved by the player, leaving puzzle threads that can extend beyond that initial goal. ''Blue Prince'' was developed over eight years by solo developer Tonda Ros. Low Fantasy
Low fantasy, or intrusion fantasy, is a subgenre of fantasy fiction in which magical events intrude on an otherwise normal world. The term thus contrasts with high fantasy stories, which take place in fictional worlds that have their own sets of rules and physical laws. Intrusion fantasy places less emphasis on elements typically associated with fantasy and sets a narrative in realistic environments with elements of the fantastical. Sometimes, there are just enough fantastical elements to make ambiguous the boundary between what is real and what is purely psychological or supernatural. The word "low" refers to the familiarity of the world within which fantasy elements appear and is not a remark on the work's overall quality. An alternative definition, common in role-playing games, rests on the story and characters being more realistic than mythic in scope. Thus, some works, like Robert E. Howard's ''Conan the Barbarian'' series, can be high fantasy according to the first defin ...

The Witness (2016 Video Game)
''The Witness'' is a 2016 puzzle video game developed and published by Thekla, Inc. Inspired by ''Myst'', the game involves the exploration of an open world island filled with natural and man-made structures. The player progresses by solving puzzles around the island. The game provides no direct instructions for how these puzzles are to be solved, requiring the player to identify the meaning of symbols in the puzzles. A central design element to the game was how these puzzles are presented so that the player can achieve a moment of inspiration through trial and error and gain that comprehension themselves. Announced in 2009, ''The Witness'' had a lengthy development period. Jonathan Blow, the game's lead designer, started work on the title in 2008, shortly after releasing ''Braid (video game), Braid''. The financial success of ''Braid'' allowed him to hire a larger production team without ceding creative control over the final product. To create the game's visual language, the ...
