Bloqué
"Bloqué" is a song by French hip hop duo Casseurs Flowters, and produced by Skread. It was released on July 3, 2013 as the lead single from their debut studio album ''Orelsan et Gringe sont les Casseurs Flowters'', in which the song's title is "18h30 – Bloqué". Following the story of the album, the song is about the two rappers failing to find a theme for their album, thus experiencing writer's block, hence the refrain "''J'ai tendance à bloquer''", which is French language, French for "I tend to block". Music video The music video was released as part of the single's release on July 3, 2013. It depicts Casseurs Flowters members Orelsan and Gringe spending their day doing various activities in line with the lyrics of the song. The video begins at an apartment where the two rappers are watching television, and ends with Orelsan passing out at the beach the next day after leaving a rave with Gringe. Sfinks Festival
The Sfinks festival is a Belgian festival for world music at Boechout, Belgium. The festival is held during the last weekend in July. History The festival was originally held (1975–1994) in a local school park. In 1982 the festival featured exotic music for the first time which changed its appearance forever. In 1992 and 1994, Friday and Thursday were added to the festival to accommodate the expanding program. In 1994, the venue was changed to a larger site, the 'Molenveld' in Boechout to accommodate the larger crowds. The festival currently receives about 40,000 visitors and over 40 bands each year. Since some years the festival has shrunk again to three days. Luaka Bop
Luaka Bop is a New York–based record label founded by musician David Byrne, former lead singer and guitarist for the art rock– new wave band Talking Heads. What began with Byrne making cassettes of his favorite Tropicália tracks for his friends became a full-fledged record label in 1988 after Byrne received a solo artist deal from Warner Bros. Since then, Luaka Bop has developed into a label known for bringing eclectic music to new audiences. Though initially affiliated with Warner Bros, Luaka Bop has been wholly independent since 2006. Often categorized as a “world music” label, Luaka Bop considers its own music to be mostly contemporary pop.
