Bjørn Dahl (born 7 April 1978) is a retired Norwegian footballer from Os, Norway. He has represented the Norway national football team, and he has won the Norwegian Premier League and the Norwegian football cup. Career He has played most of his career in Viking FK, but transferred to SK Brann in a trade deal, when Viking bought the central defender Ragnvald Soma from Brann. In addition to Dahl, Brann was paid between £520.000 and £610.000 (€750.000-€880.000). In 2009, he joined Hønefoss BK, and in 2010, Løv-Ham. He retired after the 2011 season. 2011 Norwegian First Division
The 2011 1. division (referred to as Adeccoligaen for sponsorship reasons) was a Norwegian second-tier football season. The season began play on 3 April 2011 and ended on 30 October 2011. The clubs relegated from the 2010 Tippeligaen were Hønefoss (after relegation play-offs), Kongsvinger and Sandefjord. Asker, HamKam, Hødd, and Randaberg were promoted from the 2010 2. divisjon. Following an extended period of financial distress, Lyn withdrew from the league in 2010. Follo did not finish their licensing application for the 2011 season before the time limit of 15 September 2010, and were thus relegated at the end of the 2010 season even though they finished 12th, outside of the relegation zone. The 2010 1. divisjon (referred to as Adeccoligaen for sponsorship reasons) was a Norwegian second-tier football season. The season began play on 5 April 2010 and ended on 7 November 2010. The clubs relegated from the Tippeligaen in 2009 were Fredrikstad (after relegation play-offs), Bodø/Glimt and Lyn. HamKam, Notodden, Stavanger and Skeid were relegated to the 2. divisjon in 2009 after finishing from thirteenth to sixteenth place respectively. Strømmen, Follo, Sandnes Ulf and Ranheim were promoted from the 2. divisjon in 2009. Norwegian First Division
The Norwegian First Division, also called 1. divisjon () and OBOS-ligaen (due to sponsoring ties with :no:OBOS, OBOS), is the second-highest level of the Norwegian football league system. The 2009 Tippeligaen was the 65th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began on 15 March and end on 1 November. Stabæk were the defending champions. Odd Grenland, Sandefjord and Start entered as the three promoted teams from the 2008 1. divisjon. They replaced HamKam who were relegated to the 2009 1. divisjon. Overview League expansion This was the first top division seasons where 16 teams were competing on the highest level of Norwegian football since the 1961–62 Hovedserien season. The 2006 Tippeligaen was the 62nd completed season of top division football in Norway. The season began on April 9, 2006 and ended on November 5, 2006. Rosenborg became champions on October 29, with one round to go, by defeating Viking at home.
