Björn Andersson (footballer, Born 1951)
Björn Andersson (born 20 July 1951) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a defender. He is best remembered for representing Bayern Munich and was part of their European Cup victory in 1975. A full international between 1972 and 1977, he won 28 caps and scored one goal for the Sweden men's national football team and represented his country in the 1974 FIFA World Cup. He is currently a youth coordinator at IS Halmia. Perstorp is a locality and the seat of Perstorp Municipality in Skåne County, Sweden with 6,054 inhabitants (2018). The 1976 Intercontinental Cup was an association football tie held over two legs in November and December 1976 between Cruzeiro, winners of the 1976 Copa Libertadores, and the winners of the 1975–76 European Cup, Bayern Munich. FC Bayern Munich, even as European champions, didn't find a compatible schedule together with South-American champions Club Atlético Independiente, to play the 1975 Intercontinental Cup. This time, however, had no problems and the German club disputed the world title against the 1976 South-American champions, the Brazilian Cruzeiro Esporte Clube.
