"Biću tu" (I'll Be There) is a song recorded by Serbian recording artist Gru for his second studio album, '' Gru 2''. The certified gold album sold 4 million copies, making it the most commercially successful albums in the Balkans. The song reached number one in Serbia in 1996 for 7 consecutive weeks, and in Montenegro for 5 weeks. ''Biću tu'' won Andonov a Serbian Oscar of Popularity in 1996, in the Best Singles category. Recorded at Studio Puž on behalf of the labels City Records and later Komuna, it was produced by Andonov and musician Marko Kon. Written by Andonov and vocalist Leontina Vukmanović, the song also attributed vocals from the songwriters. Due to the song rising Gru to prominence in Eastern Europe, the song is credited as his signature song. Dalibor Andonov ( sr-Cyrl, Далибор Андонов, ; 8 March 1973 – 9 September 2019), known professionally as Gru, was a Serbian musician, DJ, rapper and actor. His song '' Biću tu'' from the 1996 album '' Gru 2'', gained him popularity in Eastern Europe, as well as the 2010 release '' I dalje me žele'' alongside Serbian rapper Ajs Nigrutin. His album ''Gru 2'' is the most commercially successful album in Serbia, selling four million copies, and reaching certified gold status in Serbia. Other than his immense popularity in the Balkans, he is well known in other countries of Eastern and Northern Europe. He has been dubbed The Serbian Rap Machine. Monteniggers
Monteniggers was a hip-hop band from Kotor, Montenegro, then Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia. The band originally consisted of Niggor, Igor Lazić, Nebojša Saveljić, and Duško Nikolić, also known under the pseudonyms "Lucky Boy", "Sky", and "Ducka", respectively. Nikolić soon got ill and couldn't perform, though he co-wrote songs. Even though the band's period of activity is generally taken to be 1994–1999, the band was actually formed in 1988 under the name "Brake Boys". One year later they changed the name to AE:Tell me, and then changed it yet again to Monteniggers. Niggor
Niggor (born Igor Lazić), born on 16 February 1971, is a Montenegrin hip-hop and electronic artist, best known as the member of hip hop duo Monteniggers. He started doing music with his friend Nebojša Saveljić "Nebo" when they formed the hip hop duo " Monteniggers". They released two albums and at the peak of their career Saveljić died in a car accident, causing Igor to go on a hiatus for a few years.
