Bizarre (rapper)
Rufus Johnson (born July 5, 1976), better known by his stage name Bizarre, formerly Bizarre Kid, is an American rapper and producer, best known for his work with the Detroit-based hip hop music, hip hop group D12. Early life Bizarre was born Rufus Johnson on July 5, 1976, in Detroit. Bizarre grew up living with his single mother. He started rapping when he was in fifth grade. His teacher thought he was talking to himself, and began calling him 'Bizarre Kid', which eventually led to the stage name 'Bizarre'. In 1995, he joined the rap group D12 with neighborhood friends DeShaun "Proof (rapper), Proof" Holton, Karnail "Bugz" Pitts, Carlos "Fuzz Scoota" Rabb, Willie "Eye Kyu" Drake, and Von "Kuniva" Carlisle. ''Celebrity Fit Club'' is a reality television series which followed eight overweight celebrities as they tried to lose weight. ''D12 World'' is the second and final studio album by American hip-hop group D12, released on April 27, 2004. The album sold 544,000 copies in its first week on the U.S. Billboard 200. The album is also the last D12 release to feature Proof before his death in 2006, and the final D12 album to feature Bugz on a track. Background In memory of Bugz, who was killed prior to a concert on May 21, 1999, the group recorded the track "Good Die Young" in memory of him. The album also includes a skit entitled "Bugz '97", which is a 1997 recording of Bugz, originally taken from the song "Desperados".
