Bill Callahan (American Football Coach)
William E. Callahan (born July 31, 1956) is an American football coach who is the position coach, offensive line coach for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He was the head coach of the Oakland Raiders in 2002 and 2003, leading them to Super Bowl XXXVII, where the Raiders lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 48–21. He was also the head coach for the Nebraska Cornhuskers football, Nebraska Cornhuskers from 2004 to 2007 and interim head coach for the Washington Redskins in 2019. William Holmes Buford (born 6 October 1954) is an American author and journalist. He is the author of the books '' Among the Thugs'' and ''Heat: An Amateur's Adventures as Kitchen Slave, Line Cook, Pasta-Maker, and Apprentice to a Dante-Quoting Butcher in Tuscany''. Buford was previously the fiction editor for ''The New Yorker'', where he is still on staff. For sixteen years, he was the editor of ''Granta'', which he relaunched in 1979. Bill Buckner
William Joseph Buckner (December 14, 1949 – May 27, 2019) was an American first baseman and left fielder in Major League Baseball (MLB) who played for five teams from through , most notably the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Boston Red Sox. Beginning his career as an outfielder with the Dodgers, Buckner helped the team to the pennant with a .314 batting average, but a serious ankle injury the next year led to his trade to the Cubs before the season. The Cubs moved him to first base, and he won the National League (NL) batting title with a .324 mark in 1980. Bill Bryson (politician)
William George Bryson (24 February 1898 – 2 March 1973) was an Australian politician for the Australian Labor Party from 1943 to 1946 and 1949 to 1955 and helped establish the Democratic Labor Party. Bryson won the House of Representatives seat of Bourke at the 1943 election, but was beaten by the independent Doris Blackburn at the 1946 election. Bourke was abolished prior to the 1949 election and partly replaced by Wills and Bryson defeated Blackburn at the election. In 1955, Bryson and six other Victorian federal members were expelled from the Labor Party as members of the Industrial Groups. In April 1955, they established the Australian Labor Party (Anti-Communist), which was renamed the Democratic Labor Party in 1957. Bryson was beaten by the Labor candidate, Gordon Bryant at the 1955 election. Bill Bruford
William Scott Bruford (born 17 May 1949) is an English drummer and percussionist who first gained prominence as a founding member of the progressive rock band Yes. After leaving Yes in 1972, Bruford spent the rest of the 1970s recording and touring with King Crimson (1972–1974), Roy Harper (1975), and U.K. (1978), as well as touring with Genesis (1976). In 1978, he formed his own group, Bruford, which was active until 1980. Sir William Felix Browder, (born 23 April 1964) is an American-born English financier and political activist. He is the CEO and co-founder of Hermitage Capital Management, the investment advisor to the Hermitage Fund, which was formerly the largest foreign portfolio investor in Russia.
