Hochfilzen
Hochfilzen is a town and municipality in the Kitzbühel (district), Kitzbühel district of the Austrian state of Tyrol (state), Tyrol. It is located in the Pillersee valley 5 km east of Fieberbrunn. Anastasiya Vladimirovna Kuzmina (, ; née Shipulina; born 28 August 1984) is a Russian-born Slovak biathlete. Career Kuzmina represented Slovakia from December 2008 and won the silver medal two months later in mass start at the 2009 Biathlon World Championships in Pyeongchang. She won a gold medal in the 7.5 km sprint and a silver medal in the 10 km pursuit at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Magdalena Gwizdoń (born 4 August 1979) is a Polish biathlete, born in Cieszyn. She is the record holder for the women for the most IBU Biathlon World Cup starts with 529 and second overall after Ole Einar Björndalen. Career Gwizdoń competed in the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics for Poland. Her best finish was 7th, as part of the 2006 Polish relay team. Her best individual finish was 20th in the 2006 sprint. In 2006, she also finished 21st in the pursuit, 29th in the mass start, and 33rd in the individual. In 2010, she finished 35th in the sprint, 31st in the pursuit, 59th in the individual and 12th as part of the relay team. Svetlana Yuryevna Sleptsova (; born 31 July 1986 in Khanty Mansiysk) is a retired Russian biathlete. She is a member of the club CSKA (Central Sports Club of the Army). She is a three-time Junior World Champion and won the bronze medal in the mixed relay at the Biathlon World Championships 2008, 2008 World Championships in Östersund. Yuliia Valentynivna Dzhyma (; born 19 September 1990) is a Ukrainian World Cup level biathlete. She is Olympic champion in women's relay, multiple World championships medalist. She is one of the most successful Ukrainian biathletes of the 2010s. Career She took up biathlon in Kyiv, where she lives. She wasn't seen as a promising rising athlete at the beginning of her sporting career. She didn't show promising results in skiing, so trainers were doubtful whether she would be a good biathlete. Susan Dunklee
Susan Dunklee (born February 13, 1986, in Newport, Vermont) is a retired American biathlete. Life and career Dunklee was raised in the town of Barton, Vermont and started skiing at the age of two, first entering cross-country competitions at the age of seven. She attended St. Johnsbury Academy, in St. Johnsbury, Vermont for high school. She took up biathlon while she was a senior at Dartmouth College, where she studied ecology. While at Dartmouth, Dunklee was also a member of Dartmouth's 2007 National Championship Ski team and was active in the Dartmouth Outing Club. Prior to this she had been a double All-American in cross-country skiing. Her best World Cup finish was 2nd in a Sprint event in Presque Isle, ME in 2016. Vanessa Hinz (born 24 March 1992) is a former German biathlete and cross-country skier. Hinz started in her first world cup races at the end of the 2012/13-season. At the 2013 European Championships she won a gold medal with the German relay team. In 2014, she participated in the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
