Being Human (British TV Series)
''Being Human'' is a British Supernatural fiction, supernatural comedy-drama television series created and written by Toby Whithouse and first broadcast on BBC Three in 2009. The show blends elements of Roommate, flatshare comedy and horror drama. The Pilot (Being Human), pilot episode starred Andrea Riseborough as Annie Sawyer (a ghost), Russell Tovey as George Sands (a werewolf), and Guy Flanagan as John Mitchell (Being Human), John Mitchell (a vampire) – all of whom are sharing accommodation and attempting as well as they can to live a "normal" life and blend in with the ordinary humans around them, striving to fit in more. Two of the main cast were replaced in the series by Aidan Turner (Mitchell) and Lenora Crichlow (Annie). Russell Tovey was the only original main cast member. Horror is a genre of speculative fiction that is intended to disturb, frighten, or scare an audience. Horror is often divided into the sub-genres of psychological horror and supernatural horror. Vampire

John Mitchell (Being Human)
John Mitchell is a fictional vampire in the comedy-drama TV series '' Being Human'', portrayed by Guy Flanagan in the pilot and afterwards by Aidan Turner. The male lead for the duration of the show's first three series appeared in 23 episodes of the drama, as well as in three ''Being Human'' novels. Guy Nicholas Flanagan (born 1980) is an English actor, best known for portraying John Mitchell in the pilot episode of '' Being Human''. Background Born in New Longton, Lancashire, Flanagan attended Cardinal Newman College, and went on to train at Drama Centre London. George Sands is a fictional werewolf in the comedy-drama television series '' Being Human'', portrayed by Russell Tovey. Annie Sawyer
Anna Clare "Annie" Sawyer is a fictional character in the comedy-drama television series '' Being Human'', portrayed by Lenora Crichlow. Pilot (Being Human)
The pilot episode of the BBC fantasy television show '' Being Human'' aired on BBC Three on 18 February 2008. As with all episodes of the first and second series of ''Being Human'', this episode was not provided with a name when broadcast. Synopsis Cold open Night scenes of a young man ( Mitchell) alone with a young woman (Lauren) are intercut with parallel night scenes of a different, haunted-looking young man (George) walking alone through the woods. Mitchell and Lauren's date has ended up in her flat, but despite the seductive atmosphere Mitchell seems more interested in talking to an uncomprehending Lauren about George's situation.
