* 2023–24 The Bangladesh Women's Football League (),officially known as UCB Women's Football League for sponsorship reasons and simply as WFL, is the highest level of women's club football competition of Bangladesh. Established in 2011, the league is run by Bangladesh Football Federation. History Bangladesh Women's Football League was founded in 2011 by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), as Bangladesh's top flight domestic women's football league. After two consecutive seasons, the league was postponed for indefinite time because of financial issues. After a gap of 7 years, the BFF organised the third edition in 2020. The 2021–22 season had 12 clubs participating, the highest to date. The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in most countries and territories in Asia. The AFC was formed in 1954. It has 47 members. The Asian Ladies Football Confederation (ALFC) was the section of AFC that managed women's association football in Asia. The group was independently founded in April 1968 in a meeting involving Taiwan, British Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore. In 1986, ALFC merged with AFC. 2011–12 Bangladesh Women's Football League
The 2011–12 Bangladesh Women's Football League, also known as the Walton Dhaka Metropolis Women's Football League 2011 due to sponsorship reason, it was the 1st season of domestic women's club football competition in Bangladesh hosted and organized by Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). The total 8 teams were participated in the tournament. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Women are current champions. The 2019–20 Bangladesh Women's Football League, also known as the Tricotex Bangladesh Women's Football League 2019–20 due to sponsorship reason, it was the 3rd season of domestic women's club football competition in Bangladesh hosted and organized by Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). In this edition, 7 teams were participated. The league has begun from 22 February 2020. On 16 March Bangladesh suspended all competition due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, BFF said that the league season will resume in early November.
