M1922 Bang Rifle
The Model 1922 Bang rifle is a US semi-automatic rifle designed by the Danish arms designer Søren Hansen Bang. It was a modification of the earlier Models of 1909 and Model 1911 Bang rifles, both chambered in the .30-06 Springfield round. Overview It was gas operated, using a sliding muzzle cup system which was blown forward by the combustion gases while the bullet emerged from the barrel. This ".256 Bang" rifle was a top candidate from 1925 to 1928 for US contracts ultimately won by the M1 Garand#History, M1 Garand. Bang himself demonstrated his own models in US field trials in 1919 and 1927. The Bang rifle was ultimately unsuccessful in US government testing because of its mechanical complexity and susceptibility to gas fouling of the sliding muzzle cup. ''Bang!'' is a Spaghetti Western-themed social deduction card game designed by Emiliano Sciarra and released by Italian publisher DV Giochi in 2002. In 2004, ''Bang!'' won the Origins Award for Best Traditional Card Game of 2003 and Best Graphic Design of a Card Game or Expansion. ''Bang'' is a British bilingual television crime drama series, created by Roger Williams, featuring both the English and Welsh which was first broadcast on S4C on 10 September 2017. The show, set in Port Talbot, Wales, stars Jacob Ifan as Sam Jenkins, a loner who becomes entangled in a web of lies after coming into possession of a gun, and Catrin Stewart as his sister Gina, who is a police detective. The second series was broadcast on S4C in February–March 2020. Initial broadcasts carried entirely English subtitles (although these need to be accessed by the viewer, and do not appear on screen), while repeat airings carried encoded English subtitles for scenes spoken in Welsh. Bit Managers, formerly known as New Frontier, was a video game developer based in Barcelona (Spain). It was co-founded by Alberto Jose González, who composed the music for all of their games except ''Bang!'', a coin-operated arcade machine. Bang Cartoon (also called Bang Cartoons or Bang!) was a website that hosts satirical Flash cartoons based almost exclusively on the NFL. It was created in September 2003. It was operated by John Tayman who is a lifelong fan of the NFL and follows the Washington Redskins. In September 2005, a podcast series was introduced hosted by Tayman and the site's producer Tom Lacks. Like the cartoons it is satirical and based mostly on the NFL. Lacks is an avid Buckeye and Cowboy fan and this is often a source humor on the show. The cartoons grew out of Tayman's love for the NFL and his belief that many NFL fans take the sport too seriously. It has attracted both praise and criticism and has also become popular among a number of the players that they generally parody.
