The men's doubles badminton event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games was held from 10 to 15 April 2018 at the Carrara Sports and Leisure Centre on the Gold Coast, Australia. The defending gold medalists were Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong Tan Wee Kiong (; born 21 May 1989) is a Malaysian badminton player in the doubles event. Carrara Sports And Leisure Centre
Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre is a multi-purpose arena and sports facility located at Carrara, Queensland, Carrara on Queensland's Gold Coast, Queensland, Gold Coast in Australia, capable of seating 5,000 fans. The centre is located adjacent to the Carrara Indoor Stadium and forms a part of the Gold Coast Sports Precinct. A section of the centre also serves as a sports administration and indoor training facility for the Gold Coast Suns with the facility being called the Austworld Centre under a Naming rights, naming rights partnership, who play home matches and train outdoors at the adjacent Carrara Stadium and training oval. Ty Alexander Lindeman (born 15 August 1997) is a Canadian badminton player. He won the gold medals in the mixed doubles at the 2023 Pan American Games; also at the 2018, 2022 and 2025 Pan Am Championships. Career Lindeman trains at MODU Badminton Club, and in 2015, he represented Alberta competed at the XXV Canada Games. Alexander Dunn (born 13 September 1998) is a Scottish badminton player. Born in Bellshill, Dunn started playing badminton at aged seven, and joined the national team in 2009.
