Beijing University Of Technology Gymnasium
The Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium () is an indoor arena located on the campus of the Beijing University of Technology in the Chaoyang District, Beijing, Chaoyang District in Beijing, China. The gymnasium hosted the 2008 Summer Olympics Badminton at the 2008 Summer Olympics, badminton and Gymnastics at the 2008 Summer Olympics, rhythmic gymnastics events. The gymnasium seating capacity is 7,500 and has a floor space of 2700 square metres. After the Olympic Games, it has served as a training facility for Chinese badminton teams and also as a sports and recreational activities centre for students and local communities. Choong Tan Fook
Choong Tan Fook (born 6 February 1976) is a former badminton player from Malaysia. Choong is currently coaching the Hong Kong badminton team. Career overview Choong made his debut in Olympic Games in 2000 Sydney. Robert Bogumił Mateusiak (born 13 January 1976) is a Polish retired badminton player. Career Łogosz and Mateusiak won bronze medals at the European Championships in 2000, 2002, 2004, and 2006. Michał Andrzej Łogosz (born 23 November 1977) is a Polish badminton player from Litpol-Malow Suwałki club. He was named best sportsman in Płock in 1995. Jonas Rasmussen (born 28 October 1977 in Aarhus) is a retired badminton player from Denmark. Career With his men's doubles partner Lars Paaske he won the 2003 IBF World Championships defeating Indonesian pair Candra Wijaya and Sigit Budiarto in the gold medal match and the All England Super Series 2010 defeating compatriots Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen. Lars Paaske (born 18 January 1976) is a badminton player from Denmark. Career He competed in badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics in men's doubles with partner Jonas Rasmussen. After an initial bye in the first round, then were defeated in the next round by Yim Bang-eun and Kim Yong-hyun of Korea. Tan Boon Heong (, born 18 September 1987) is a former World No.1 Malaysian professional badminton player in the men's doubles event. Koo Kien Keat (; born 18 September 1985) is a Malaysian former professional badminton player. He succeeded in both men's and mixed doubles but is best known for his partnership with Tan Boon Heong with whom, he reached a career high ranking of world number 1.
