Pavelló De La Mar Bella
The Pavelló de la Mar Bella is an indoor arena located in Barcelona, Catalonia. Seating 4000, it hosted the Badminton at the 1992 Summer Olympics, badminton events for 1992 Summer Olympics. This venue was completed in time for the 1992 Games. In 1993, it was converted to a privately-owned municipal multi-purpose venue, granted to Club Natació Poble Nou. Due to the financial issues faced by said entity, the City Hall of Barcelona recovered the grant and bestowed to the municipal company B:SM. In 2011, the Barcelona School Sports Board (Consell de l'Esport Escolar de Barcelona, CEEB) obtained the grant. References

Ricky Subagja
Ricky Subagja (born 27 January 1971) is a former Indonesian badminton player. He was rated among the greatest doubles specialists in the sport's history. Career In 1993 the fast moving, faster hitting Subagja won men's doubles at the then biennial IBF World Championships in Birmingham, England with fellow countryman Rudy Gunawan. However, Subagja's regular partner for most of the 90s was another fellow countryman, the equally fast and hard-hitting Rexy Mainaky, and they formed the most successful team of the decade. Subagja and Mainaky won more than thirty international titles together, including all of badminton's major championships at least once. They captured Olympic gold at Atlanta in 1996, the IBF World Championships in 1995 at Lausanne, Switzerland (a repeat title for Subagja), and the prestigious All-England Championships back to back in 1995 and 1996. Thomas Haubro Lund (born 2 August 1968) is a retired badminton player from Denmark who affiliate with Kastrup Magleby club. Career Lund was one of the world's leading doubles specialists of the 1990s, particularly in mixed doubles. He was a silver medalist in both men's and mixed doubles at the 1991 IBF World Championships. In 1993 and 1995 he won consecutive gold medals in mixed doubles at the IBF World Championships, the first with Sweden's Catrine Bengtsson and the second with his compatriot Marlene Thomsen. From 1990 through 1994 Lund won five consecutive mixed doubles titles with three different partners at the now defunct World Badminton Grand Prix. Jon Holst-Christensen (born 16 June 1968) is a retired male badminton player from Denmark who is the son of two great badminton players in the 60's, and Tonny Holst-Christensen. Jon is prominent in men's and mixed doubles for Denmark team alongside players such as Thomas Lund and Michael Sogaard. Along with Glenn Stewart, he won a bronze medal in the badminton men's doubles at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland. Dipankar Bhattacharjee (born 1 February 1972) is a Badminton player from Assam, India. He represented India at many International tournaments including Barcelona and Atlanta Olympics. He was the Indian National Badminton Champion thrice and a runner-up twice. At Barcelona Olympics, he reached the pre-quarters. Early life Dipankar started playing badminton at a very early age. He was five years old when his father Mr. Iswar Bhattacharjee took him out for Badminton training. U. Vimal Kumar (born 19 November 1962) is an Indian former badminton player. He won the Indian National title consecutively for two years, 1988 and 1989. He also served as Chief National Coach of India. He is the Co Founder, Director and Chief Coach in Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy. He was awarded the Dronacharya Award in 2019. He was the bronze medalist in badminton at the 1986 Asian Games in the Men's team event. Career During his career he won French Open in 1983 & 1984 and Welsh International Open in 1988 & 1991.
