Büyükçekmece Basketbol, mostly known as ONVO Büyükçekmece for sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional basketball club based in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul which plays in the Turkish Basketball Super League. Their home arena is Gazanfer Bilge Sports Hall with a capacity of 3,000 seats. History Tüyap Büyükçekmece was founded in 2011, in Büyükçekmece. The team began playing in the Turkish Basketball Third League, TB3L for 2011-12 season. In 2012-13 season, the team promoted to Turkish Basketball First League, TB2L as a champion. In their first season in TB2L the team finished ninth and they completed the league. In the 2014–15 TB2L season, 2014–15 season, the team finished fourth of regular season. The team beat Akhisar Belediyespor (basketball), Akhisar Belediye in quarter-final. 2017–18 FIBA Europe Cup
The 2017–18 FIBA Europe Cup was the third season of the FIBA Europe Cup, a European professional basketball competition for clubs that was launched by FIBA. The competition began on 20 September 2017, with the qualifying rounds, and concluded with the second leg of the final on 2 May 2018. Jerry Jamar Johnson (born April 23, 1982) is an American-born naturalised Kazakhstani professional basketball player who last played for Neptūnas Klaipėda of the Lithuanian Basketball League.
