Attorney General Of New Hampshire
The Attorney General of New Hampshire is a constitutional officer of the U.S. state of New Hampshire who serves as head of the New Hampshire Department of Justice. , the state's attorney general is John Formella. Qualifications and appointment Under Part II, Article 46 of the New Hampshire Constitution, the Attorney General is appointed by the Governor with approval of the Council. The Attorney General serves a term of four years, as required bRSA 21-M:3 which is two years longer than the term of the Governor. The Attorney General and their Deputy must be "admitted to the practice of law in New Hampshire" and also "be qualified by reason of education and experience." John Formella
John Michael Formella (born 1986/1987) is an American lawyer serving as the 31st New Hampshire Attorney General, Attorney General of New Hampshire since 2021. He previously served as legal counsel for Governor Chris Sununu. Early life and career Formella was born in Rochester, Minnesota. He has been a resident of New Hampshire since 1999, when his family relocated to New Hampshire from Florida. He is the son of John Formella and Nancy Formella. He attended Florida State University from 2004-2009, where he was a member of Phi Betta Kappa and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in English Literature and later an M.S. in Applied American Politics and Policy. Steve Merrill
Stephen Everett Merrill (June 21, 1946 – September 5, 2020) was an American lawyer and Republican politician from Manchester, New Hampshire. He served as the 77th governor of New Hampshire from 1993 to 1997. Early life Merrill was born in Norwich, Connecticut but moved to New Hampshire at an early age. He graduated from Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, New Hampshire and the University of New Hampshire. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1972. In 1972, Merrill joined the United States Air Force as a lawyer. From 1973 to 1975 he was legal counsel to the United States Secretary of the Air Force and from 1975 to 1976 was a special assistant to the assistant secretary of the Air Force. Son Goku was a German rock band who played a mix of hardcore punk, alternative, reggae, and electronic sounds. The band was named after the Son Goku character in the ''Dragon Ball'' series. David Hackett Souter ( ; born September 17, 1939) is an American lawyer and jurist who served as an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court from 1990 until his retirement in 2009. Warren Rudman
Warren Bruce Rudman (May 18, 1930November 19, 2012) was an American attorney and Republican politician who served as United States Senator from New Hampshire between 1980 and 1993. He was known as a moderate centrist, to such an extent that President Clinton approached him in 1994 about replacing departing Treasury Secretary Lloyd Bentsen in Clinton's cabinet, an offer that Rudman declined. After two terms in office, Rudman chose not to run for re-election in 1992.
