Azerbaijan Women's National 3x3 Team
The Azerbaijan women's national 3x3 team is a national basketball team of Azerbaijan, administered by the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation. It represents the country in international 3x3 (3 against 3) women's basketball competitions. The team participated in the 2014 and 2016 FIBA Europe 3x3 Championships, but didn't advance beyond the quarter finals. The team was more successful in the Islamic Solidarity Games, winning the gold medal in both the 2017 and 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games. In April 2024, the team, centered around American-Azerbaijani professional basketball player Tiffany Hayes, won the 2024 Summer Olympics qualification tournament in Hong Kong, and qualified for the Olympic Games for the first time in its history.FIBA 3x3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament


FIBA 3x3 World Cup
The FIBA 3x3 World Cup is a 3x3 (basketball), 3x3 basketball tournament for national teams organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). The debut of the tournament originally named as the FIBA 3x3 World Championship was held in August 2012 in Athens, Greece. The current champions are Serbia men's national 3x3 team, Serbia in the men's division and United States women's national 3x3 team, United States in the women's division. There are two events in the tournament: one for men and another for women. In the first edition, there was a mixed event where each team was composed of 2 men and 2 women. Basketball At The 2024 Summer Olympics – Women's 3x3 Qualification
The women's 3x3 qualification for the Olympic basketball tournament took place between November 2022 and June 2024, allocating eight teams for the final tournament. Three quota places were awarded to the top-ranked teams, including the host nation France, based on the total points calculated in the FIBA 3x3 Rankings of 1 November 2023, with the remainder attributed to the eligible NOCs in separate wildcard tournaments (two winners of the universality-driven Olympic qualifying tournaments and the top three of the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament). Dina Ulyanova (born 1 September 1989) is an Azerbaijani basketball player who plays as a small forward for Neftchi and is a member of the Azerbaijan women's national 3x3 team. Basketball At The 2024 Summer Olympics – Women's 3x3 Tournament
The 2024 Summer Olympics women's 3x3 basketball tournament in Paris, France, began on 30 July and ended on 5 August 2024. All games were played at the Place de la Concorde. It was the second time the 3x3 basketball women's event was held at the Olympic Games. Germany defeated Spain in the final to win their first title. The United States took home bronze after defeating Canada. Competition format The eight teams played a round robin. The first and second placed teams qualified for the semi-finals. The teams three to six competed in play-in games for the remaining two spots in the semi-finals. After that, a knockout system was used. The 2020 Summer Olympics women's 3x3 basketball tournament in Tokyo, began on 24 and ended on 28 July 2021. All games were played at the Aomi Urban Sports Park. It was originally scheduled to be held in 2020, but on 24 March 2020, the Olympics were postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tiffany Kiara Hayes (born September 20, 1989) is an American-Azerbaijani professional basketball player for the Golden State Valkyries of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Hayes played college basketball for the Connecticut Huskies, playing for the 2009 and 2010 NCAA National Champions. FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup
The FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup had its inaugural tournament in 2014 in Bucharest, Romania. There are two events in the championship, one men's event and one women's event. Each team has four players (three on court and one on the bench). The match is played on a half court and every rule applies as well as a 12-second shot clock and clearance needed on a new possession. The 3x3 basketball competition at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games was held in Konya, Turkey from 13 to 17 August 2022 in Karatay Congress and Sport Center. The Games were originally scheduled to take place from 20 to 29 August 2021.
