Awantura O Basię
''Argument About Basia'' () is a Polish novel by Kornel Makuszyński, written in 1936, but released one year later. Plot The book tells the story of a little orphan girl, Basia, sent by train alone after her mother's death. When a piece of paper with an address of Basia's family is destroyed, Basia is taken by an actor who managed to read the address and takes the girl there. But he turns out to be wrong ... Ewa Krasnodebska
Ewa Krasnodębska (born 9 July 1925) is a Polish actress, known for her extensive career in theatre, film and television from 1949 to 2014. Early life Krasnodebska was born on 9 July 1925 in Warsaw, Poland. She was the only child of Marian Krasnodębski, an economist and senior official at the Mutual Insurance Institution, and Maria Badowska, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts. Her maternal family had strong artistic traditions. Her grandfather, Adam Badowski was a renowned painter and professor at the Academy of Fine Arts and her grandmother Maria Wąsowska-Badowska-Rydygier, was a distinguished pianist and professor too at the Higher School of Music in Warsaw. During her early childhood, Krasnodebska lived in Marcelin, a manor located in the Sielce district of Warsaw. The family later moved to Hrubieszów and then to Mława in the early 1930s. Andrzej Tadeusz Szczepkowski (26 April 1923 – 31 January 1997) was a Polish actor. He appeared in more than 30 films and television shows between 1957 and 1997. He is the father of actress Joanna Szczepkowska. In 1966, he was awarded the Commander's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. Szczepkowski is buried at the Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw. Piotr Fronczewski (born 8 June 1946) is a Polish actor and a cabaret and theatre singer. He is regarded as one of the greatest and most popular actors of his generation. Life and career He was born in Łódź to a Polish mother, Bogna Duszyńska (1912–2016) and a Polish-Jewish father, Władysław Fronczewski (1900–1969). His father was born as Władysław Finkelstein and changed his last name before the outbreak of World War II. He is a graduate of the Karol Świerczewski Liceum in Warsaw. Piotr Fronczewski created a fictional character ''Franek Kimono'' he issued a disco LP in 1983 which was meant to be a musical joke but turned out to be a great success.
