Austin Allen (quarterback)
Austin Allen (born August 21, 1994) is a former American football quarterback. He played college football for the Arkansas Razorbacks and was their starting quarterback from 2016 to 2017. He was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2018. Early years Allen attended Fayetteville High School in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He had 3,593 passing yards and 29 touchdowns as a senior and 4,150 yards and 46 touchdowns as a junior. He committed to play college football at the University of Arkansas, the same school his brother, Brandon, was attending. College career After redshirting his first year at Arkansas in 2013, Allen appeared in fives games in 2014 as a backup to his brother, Brandon. Austin Michael Allen (born January 16, 1994) is an American professional baseball catcher who is a free agent. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres and Oakland Athletics. Career Allen attended Chaminade College Preparatory School in Creve Coeur, Missouri and played college baseball at the Florida Institute of Technology. In 2015, his junior year, he slashed .421/.473/.728 with 11 home runs and 57 RBIs in 49 games. He was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the fourth round (number 117) of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft. Austin Allen (born November 10, 1998) is an American football tight end who is a free agent. He played college football at Nebraska. Early years Allen grew up in Phillips, Nebraska, and attended Aurora High School, where he played football and basketball. As a junior, he caught 41 passes for 507 yards and eight touchdowns. Allen committed to play college football at Nebraska over offers from Iowa, Iowa State, UCLA, and UCF. College career Allen redshirted his true freshman season.
