Lugones (Siero)
Lugones (in Asturian language, Llugones) is a parish in Siero, a municipality within the province and autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain. It is in size, with a population of 11,646 ( INE 2006). It is situated at above sea level. The postal code is 33420. Lugones has existed since before the time of the Roman Empire, named after the Luggoni tribe, itself named after the Celtic God Lug. The 2015–16 Tercera División was the fourth tier in Spanish football. It started in August 2015 and ended in late June 2016 with the promotion play-off finals. The 2023–24 Copa del Rey was the 122nd edition of the Copa del Rey (including two seasons where two rival editions were played). The winners were assured a place in the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League league phase. Both the winners and the runners-up qualified for the four-team 2025 Supercopa de España.
