ATB (DJ)
André Tanneberger (; born 26 February 1973), better known by his stage name ATB, is a German DJ and producer of trance music. According to the official world DJ rankings governed by ''DJ Magazine'', ATB was ranked No. 11 in 2009 and 2010, and No. 15 in 2011. In 2011, he was ranked as world No. 1 according to "The DJ List". He is best known for his 1998 single "9 PM (Till I Come)", which was a No. 1 single in the United Kingdom. The song's hook would later be reworked into "Don't Stop! The Around the Bay Road Race (ATB) is a long distance road race annually in Hamilton, Ontario. The event features a 30 kilometer race, a 5 kilometer race, a 10 kilometer race, a 15 kilometer race, and virtual races. First held in 1894, it is the oldest long distance road race in North America. Since it began, the race has been held every year except for 1917 to 1919 (due to World War I), 1925 to 1935, 1962 (due to construction), and 2020 and 2021 (due to the COVID-19 pandemic). ATB Place, formerly Telus Plaza, is an office complex in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Originally built as the headquarters of Alberta Government Telephones (AGT), the two office towers in the complex–ATB Place Tower and Telus House Edmonton – serve as the headquarters of ATB Financial and the Alberta provincial headquarters for Telus, respectively. The south tower, Telus House Edmonton (formerly TELUS Plaza South, and originally the AGT Tower (Alberta Government Telephones Tower)), was completed in 1971, at a cost of Can$22 million. It was Edmonton's tallest building until Manulife Place was completed in 1981. It is 134.4 metres (34 storeys) tall. Ability to benefit (ATB) is a term used in the context of post-secondary education in the United States to refer to students who have sufficient competency to benefit from post-secondary education but do not have a high school diploma or the Certificate of High School Equivalency. ATB, as assessed by government-approved tests, or high school Ed plan with 504 (IEP) with at least 1 year overlapping S.E.L.P.A as long as the student has taken and passed 5 hours of college or honors credits while on higher education plans. This is required for receiving financial aid by most US public colleges that admit students without a high school diploma or the certificate of equivalency. Until July 2012, such students could also receive student loans and grants from the US government if they had passed an approved ATB examination. Active Time Battle (ATB) is a role-playing video game mechanic invented by Hiroyuki Ito. It was first used in ''Final Fantasy IV'' (1991), and patented in 1995 by Ito and Hironobu Sakaguchi, though the patent expired in 2010, allowing it to be used in any game. It added a timer bar to turn-based gameplay, allowing both protagonists and enemies to attack at their own pace, even while navigating menus. Different types of techniques caused the timer to move at different rates until the character could move again.
