Aslam Pahalwan
Muhammad Aslam (; 14 January 1927 – 7 January 1989), popularly known as Aslam Pahalwan, was a Pakistani professional wrestler and World Heavyweight Champion in professional wrestling. He was ranked as the world's No.9 by Wrestling Revue "Official Wrestling Ratings in December 1968. In Europe and America, he had wrestled as the All-India Champion. His son Jhara Pahalwan was also a wrestler. Professional wrestling career Aslam Pahalwan started his wrestling career as the pupil of Hamida Pahalwan and the Great Gama. He started wrestling during the 1940s. Sheikh Mohammad Aslam (; born 1 March 1958), popularly known as Aslam, is a Bangladeshi former footballer. He played as a specialist striker and was one of the most lethal marksmen in domestic league during the 1980s and 1990s. Dilpazier Aslam (born 1978) is a former trainee journalist with ''The Guardian''. He came to public attention in July 2005 when he lost his position with the newspaper after being named as a member of the Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir. ''The Guardian'' was alerted to Aslam's membership in the group by bloggers who read Aslam's 'Comment' op-ed article on the 7 July London bombings. Entitled "We Rock the Boat," the 13 July article discussed the attitudes of young British Muslims and how their increasing anger over perceived injustices contrasted with their elders' silence. Before joining ''The Guardian'', Aslam had written three articles for Khilafah.com, a website closely associated with Hizb ut-Tahrir, and was once called its Middle Eastern correspondent. Mohammad Aslam Khan Khalil, M.A.K. Khalil or Aslam Khalil (born January 7, 1950) is a theoretical physicist known for his leading research in atmospheric physics. Early in his career, he worked on quantum field theory of elementary particles. During the last three decades, he has worked on Global Change Science, including the physics, chemistry and biology of greenhouse gases and ozone depleting compounds. Aslam Rana
Aslam Rana is a Canadian politician from the Liberal Party of Canada. He was elected Member of Parliament for Hamilton Centre in the 2025 Canadian federal election. He defeated the NDP after over 20 years of them holding the seat. He is of Pakistani descent. Early and personal life Rana immigrated to Canada from Pakistan in 2003. He is the father of five children. Rana is a civil engineer, with a master's degree from Toronto Metropolitan University. Political career Rana was one of three new Members of Parliament elected in Hamilton, Ontario during the 2025 election.
