Asia's Singing Superstar
''Asia's Singing Superstar'' is a televised Pakistani singing competition. It was hosted by Shweta Pandit and Ahsan Khan (actor), Ahsan Khan, and the winner was Sneha Shankar. The judges were Shafqat Amanat Ali and Shankar Mahadevan, Shanker Mahadevan. Show The competition took place from late October 2015 to late January 2016. Two contestants were neither Indian people, Indian nor Pakistani: Yasmina Alidodva from Tajikistan, and Ian Cris Tocle from the Philippines. The contest had no age limit. Grand finale The show's grand finale was held on 30 January 2016. Judge Ghulam Ali (singer), Ghulam Ali was absent, and Suresh Wadkar replaced him on the panel. The winner was Sneha Shankar from Shafqat Amanat Ali Team and belongs to India Mumbai. Ghulam Ali (singer)
Ustad Ghulam Ali (; born 5 December 1940) is a Pakistani ghazal singer of the Patiala Gharana. Ghulam Ali is considered one of the greatest ghazal singers of his era. He has also been a prominent playback singer in Bollywood. He is a disciple of Bade Ghulam Ali Khan (elder Ghulam Ali Khan). Ali was also trained by Bade Ghulam Ali's younger brothers – Barkat Ali Khan and Mubarak Ali Khan. His style and variations in singing Ghazals are unique, as he blends Hindustani classical music with ghazals, unlike any other ghazal singer. He is highly popular in Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, as well as among South Asian diaspora in the US, the UK and the Middle Eastern countries. Many of his hit ghazals have been used in Bollywood movies. Tajikistan, officially the Republic of Tajikistan, is a landlocked country in Central Asia. Dushanbe is the capital city, capital and most populous city. Suresh Wadkar
Suresh Ishwar Wadkar (born 7 August 1955) is an Indian playback singer. He performs in both Hindi and Marathi films. He has sung songs in some Bhojpuri films, Odia albums and bhajans and in Konkani films. He was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for 2018 for Sugam Sangeet. In 2020, the Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri. Early life and musical training Wadkar was born in Kolhapur in a middle-class family that soon moved to Girangaon. His father Ishwar Wadkar worked in cloth mills and his mother cooked food for the mill workers. In youth, he wrestled at akhadas and frequented the Talwalkar gym with his father, who was also a wrestler.
