Artak Dashyan
Artak Dashyan (, born on 20 November 1989 in Yerevan, Armenia) is an Armenian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Noah and the Armenia national team. Club career Artak Dashyan is a graduate of the football school Shengavit. In 2006, he received an invitation from Banants Yerevan, for which he began performing for in the Armenian Premier League in 2007. Dashyan's potential began to show at an early age. His game drew the attention of the head coach of the club, and then the football team. In the 2009 Armenian Premier League, during a 24-round game between Banants and Shirak Gyumri, he insulted the referee and was immediately sent off. The Football Federation of Armenia Disciplinary Committee decided to disqualify the player for the next four matches of the Armenian Premier League and his club was fined $150 000 AMD. FC Pyunik
Football Club Pyunik (), commonly known as Pyunik (), is an Armenian professional sports club based in the Kentron neighbourhood of Yerevan. Pyunik is mostly known for its professional football team which, since its creation in 1992, has always played in the Armenian Premier League, becoming the most successful team of Armenia in number of official titles, with 34 won to date. Arthur Voskanyan
Artur Voskanyan (, born 13 August 1976) is an Armenian football coach and former player who is the manager of the academy of Noravank. Club career Artur Voskanyan began his career in Zvartnots Echmiadzin, for which he played 11 games in his first season. At that time, he was still 17 years old. Zvartnots soon had a number of unsuccessful performances and soon became SKA-Arai Echmiadzin and was demoted from the Armenian Premier League to the Armenian First League. After leaving the club, Voskanyan moved to Van Yerevan. He managed to play only two seasons for Van, as the club was disbanded after the 1996–97 season. In 1998, Voskanyan joined Tsement Ararat. Nikolay Nikolov Kostov (; born 2 July 1963) is a Bulgarian former footballer and current manager. Career Much of his coaching career has taken place in Cyprus. His first coaching role in the country was at Anorthosis, where he won the Cypriot Cup in 2002. In 2006, he joined Olympiakos Nicosia, but was replaced by Juan Ramon Rocha in October 2006. 2009 Armenian Premier League
The 2009 Armenian Premier League season was the eighteenth since its establishment. The season began on 21 March 2009 and ended on 7 November 2009. FC Pyunik were the defending champions. There were no teams promoted from the previous season of the First League. Therefore, Kilikia FC play another season in the top league. Only 8 teams were allowed to play in the 2009 Armenian Premier League. The league was played in four stages. Teams played each other four times, twice at home and twice away. FC Pyunik gained maximum points after round 28 and were crowned champions; winning their ninth consecutive title, twelfth overall. Ararat Yerevan were relegated to Armenian First League. The Armenian Premier League (, known as the Armenian Fastex Premier League for sponsorship reasons) is the top association football, football competition in Armenia. From 1936 to 1991, the competition was held as a regional tournament within the USSR. Following Armenia's independence, the Football Federation of Armenia has been the governing authority of the league.
