Sydney International Archery Park
The Sydney International Archery Park is a stadium is located in the Sydney Olympic Park suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was specially designed for Archery at the 2000 Summer Olympics, archery during the 2000 Summer Olympics. Janet Dykman
Adrienne Cornelia "Janet" Dykman (born January 17, 1954) is an American archer. Dykman was born in Monterey Park, California. She was a member of four Olympic archery teams and an alternate on one Olympic team. Her Olympic appearances included 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008. In four Pan-American games she won a gold medal as a member of the women's team. In 1991, she broke the 50-meter record and received a gold medal. In 1995, she was the National Field Archery Champion and also won the National Archery Target Championship. Currently, she still competes on the California state indoor and outdoor circuits and in Traditional National Archery Tournaments. Dykman represented the U.S. at the 2004 Summer Olympics. She placed 44th in the women's individual ranking round with a 72-arrow score of 619. Melissa Jennison
Melissa Jennison (born 7 May 1982, in Sydney) is an athlete from Australia. She competes in archery. She was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder. Jennison represented Australia at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. In 2004, she placed 29th in the women's individual ranking round with a 72-arrow score of 628. In the first round of elimination, she faced 36th-ranked Stephanie Arnold of the United States. Jennison defeated Arnold, winning 132–121 in the 18-arrow match to advance to the round of 32. In that round, she faced He Ying of China, losing to the 4th-ranked archer in a 9–8 tie-breaker after tying He at 158 in the regulation 18 arrows. Kate Fairweather
Kate Fairweather (born 2 July 1975, in Subiaco, Western Australia) is an Australian Olympic archer. She was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder. Fairweather's older brother is archer Simon Fairweather. Her father is Robert Fairweather, founder of the South Australian conservation charity Trees For Life. She won the Australian Junior Championships three times and was selected for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Her results were creditable, coming 22 out of 64 in the individual event and 9 out of 12 in the team event. She retired from archery after the 2000 Games. Liu Pi-yu (born 30 January 1969) is an archer who represented Chinese Taipei. Archery Liu finished fifteenth at the 1988 Summer Olympic Games in the women's individual event, and eleventh in the women's team event as part of the Chinese Taipei team. At the 1990 Asian Games she won a silver medal in the women's team event. In 1992 Liu finished 51st in the women's individual event and eleventh in the women's team event. Natalia Valeeva (born 15 November 1969 in Tîrnauca, Transnistria) is a naturalized Italian archer. She is a five-time Olympian and former world number one, and a native of Moldova, having represented the Unified Team, Moldova and Italy, at the Olympic Games of 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012.
