António Pacheco (footballer, Born 1966)
António Manuel Pacheco Domingos (1 December 1966 – 20 March 2024), known as Pacheco, was a Portuguese footballer who played as a winger. Club career Born in Portimão, Algarve, Pacheco started playing with local sides Torralta and Portimonense, making his debut in the Primeira Liga with the latter in the 1986–87 season. Subsequently, aged just 20, he signed for Benfica, going on to remain with the club for the next six years and help in the conquest of four major titles. Pacheco contributed five goals in 26 matches in the 1988–89 campaign, as the Lisbon team won the national championship. He was also in the starting XI when they lost two European Cup finals in three years, in 1988 and 1990. Pacheco joined neighbouring Sporting CP in summer 1993, alongside teammate Paulo Sousa. Portimão
Portimão () is a city and a municipality in the district of Faro (district), Faro, in the Algarve region of southern Portugal. The population in 2022 was 63,079 in an area of 182.06 km2. Carlos Manuel Brito Leal de Queiroz (; born 1 March 1953) is a Portuguese football manager. He has served as the manager of his native Portugal's national team, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Iran, Colombia, Egypt and Qatar, leading South Africa (2002), Portugal (2010) and Iran (2014, 2018, and 2022) to the FIFA World Cup. Paulo Sousa
Paulo Manuel Carvalho de Sousa (; born 30 August 1970) is a Portuguese football manager and former professional player who played as a defensive midfielder. He is the current manager of UAE Pro League club Shabab Al Ahli. Starting his career at Benfica, he also represented Sporting CP in his country, where he amassed Primeira Liga totals of 117 matches and three goals in five years. From there onwards, he competed mainly in Italy and Germany, winning the Champions League with Juventus and Borussia Dortmund and the Intercontinental Cup with the latter side. The 1989–90 European Cup was the 35th edition of Europe's premier club football tournament, the European Cup. The final was played at the Praterstadion in Vienna on 23 May 1990. The final was contested by Italian defending champions Milan and Portuguese twice former winners Benfica. Milan successfully defended their title with a 1–0 victory, securing their fourth European Cup trophy. Milan remained the last team to successfully defend their trophy until Real Madrid did it again in 2017.
