Antonio Fernández Rivadulla (born 29 January 1978), known as Antonio Fernández, is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a central midfielder, and is the current manager of Xerez Deportivo FC. Playing career Known as just Antonio during his playing days, he was born in Ourense, Galicia, and made his senior debut with Tercera División side Villalonga FC at the age of 17. In 1996, he was transferred to Deportivo de La Coruña for an undisclosed sum plus a friendly match, and returned to youth football. Antonio featured mainly in the fourth tier during his entire career; aside from a one-year spell in Segunda División B with CD Lalín in the 1998–99 season, he played for , UD Xove Lago, CP Villarrobledo, Granada CF, Torredonjimeno CF, Granada Atlético CF, CD Guadalajara, Portonovo SD, Motril CF, CD Ourense, Pontevedra CF, Céltiga FC and CD Boiro. 2020–21 Tercera División
The 2020–21 Tercera División was the last for this league as the fourth tier of Spanish football. It began in October 2020 and ended in June 2021 with the second phase and promotion play-off final in the Canarian group. Because the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) suspended the previous season on 11 March 2020 at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain, the RFEF announced on 6 May the termination of that season, the revocation of all relegations from the Segunda B and Tercera divisions, and the expansion of both leagues. Each regional federation was allowed to plan its own group for the 2020–21 season and as this season became somewhat shorter than usual, the RFEF recommended the subdivision of each region into two groups in the first phase for ease of scheduling, with a final phase in which the teams regrouped based on initial positions. Segunda División B (English: second division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021.
