Anna O'Flanagan
Anna O'Flanagan (born 18 February 1990) is an Ireland women's field hockey international. She was a member of the Ireland team that played in the 2018 Women's Hockey World Cup final. O'Flanagan has also won Irish Senior Cup and Women's Irish Hockey League titles with UCD. Early years and education O'Flanagan is originally from Rathgar and attended Rathgar Junior School. Between 2002 and 2008 she also attended Muckross Park College. Between 2008 and 2013 she attended University College Dublin and graduated with a Bachelor of Law with Economics. Club career Early years O'Flanagan played women's field hockey for both Rathgar Junior School and Muckross Park College. In 2002 she captained the Rathgar Junior School girls team. Hermes In 2008, when still a schoolgirl at Muckross Park College, O'Flanagan was a member of the Hermes team that won the All-Ireland Ladies' Club Championships. Muckross Park College
Muckross Park College () is a non fee paying Catholic secondary school for girls, located in Donnybrook, Dublin, Ireland. It was founded in 1900 and is one of a number of Dominican schools in Ireland. As of 2021, it has a student body of 709. Dora Gorman
Dora Gorman (born 18 February 1993) is an Irish radiologist and footballer who plays as a midfielder for Peamount United of the Women's National League (WNL). In 2010, she was captain of the Republic of Ireland U-17 squad who were runners-up in the 2010 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship and quarter-finalists in the 2010 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. As well as being a medical doctor, Gorman is an all-round sportswoman. She has also represented the Ireland women's national field hockey team at various levels and has played senior inter-county ladies' Gaelic football for the Galway county team. Early years Gorman grew up in Barna, County Galway and is the daughter of Michael and Margaret Gorman. She attended Dominican College, Taylor's Hill, Galway where she studied for her Leaving Cert. Teun De Nooijer
Teun Floris de Nooijer (born 22 March 1976) is a field hockey player from the Netherlands, who twice became Olympic champion with the Dutch national squad, in 1996 Summer Olympics, 1996 and in 2000 Summer Olympics, 2000, and was on the team in 2012 Summer Olympics, 2012. He currently plays for Dutch side HC Bloemendaal and in Hockey India League for Uttar Pradesh Wizards. The 2017 EuroHockey Club Champions Cup (women), EuroHockey Club Champions Cup is the 45th edition of the premier European competition for women's field hockey clubs. HC 's-Hertogenbosch, HC Den Bosch and 's-Hertogenbosch hosted the championship tournament for the seventh time. The tournament took place from 2 to 5 June. Monkstown Hockey Club ( Irish: ''Cumann Haca Baile na Manach'') is a field hockey club based at Rathdown School in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Ireland. Pegasus Hockey Club is a women's field hockey club based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The club enter teams in the Women's Irish Hockey League, the Irish Senior Cup, the Irish Junior Cup and the Ulster Shield. Pegasus has also represented Ireland in European competitions. EY Champions Trophy (women's Hockey)
The Women's Irish Hockey League is a field hockey league organised by Hockey Ireland that features women's teams from both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The league was first played for during the 2008–09 season. It replaced the All-Ireland Club Championships as the top level women's field hockey competition in Ireland. Since 2015–16 the league has been sponsored by Ernst & Young and, as a result, it is also known as the EY Hockey League.
