CBeebies
CBeebies is a British free-to-air Public service broadcasting in the United Kingdom, public broadcast children's television channel owned and operated by the BBC. It is also the brand used for all BBC content targeted for children aged six years and under. Its sister channel, CBBC, is intended for older children aged six to twelve. It broadcasts every day from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, timesharing with BBC Four. History On 20 November 2001, the CBeebies name was officially revealed as part of the split of the already-existing CBBC block and would be used as both a children's block and a digital channel. The CBeebies channel launched on 11 February 2002 alongside the CBBC, CBBC channel, as a spinoff from BBC Children's and Education, the BBC's children's television strand. Molly And Mack
''Molly and Mack'' is a British children's television series that began airing on CBeebies in 2018. It ran for five seasons. The show airs on ABC Kids in Australia. Premise The show centres around an 11-year-old girl named Molly (played by Mimi Robertson) who spends the summer helping her 19-year-old brother Mack (played by Joshua Haynes) at a toy stall in The Big Hub, a community hall in the fictional Scottish town of Bridgetown. The Furchester Hotel
''The Furchester Hotel'' is a puppet series that aired on CBeebies (the BBC's preschool network). It was the second British-American spin-off of ''Sesame Street'' that the BBC had made after '' Sesame Tree'' 6 years before. The show ran on CBeebies on 26 September 2014. The show aired in 2016 on Sprout (now Universal Kids) until 2 March 2019. Plot The Furchester Hotel is a half-star hotel in England that is owned by a monster family called the Furchester-Fuzz Family. The Furchester-Fuzz Family alongside Elmo and Cookie Monster figure out how to solve different issues that are developed by the guests of the Furchester Hotel. Dipdap is a children's programme on CBeebies, in which a drawn line creates endless challenges and surprises for the unsuspecting little character Dipdap. In 2012, it was reported that the show would not return for a second series. ''Colourblocks'' is a British animated television series for preschoolers that debuted on CBeebies on 12 September 2022. The series follows the adventures of block characters in Colourland, each one named after a colour. Together with the series ''Alphablocks'' and ''Numberblocks'' it is a part of the "Blocks Universe". Commissioned by the BBC, British Broadcasting Corporation, the programme was created by Joe Elliot and David Bowman, and produced by Alphablocks Ltd. with Blue Zoo Animation Studio. Clangers
''Clangers'' (usually referred to as ''The Clangers'') is a British stop motion, stop-motion Animated series, animated children's television series, consisting of short films about a family of mouse, mouse-like creatures who live on, and inside, a small moon-like planet. They speak only in a whistled language, and eat green soup (supplied by the Soup Dragon) and blue string pudding. The programmes were originally broadcast on BBC One, BBC1 between 1969 and 1972, followed by a special episode which was broadcast in 1974. The series was made by Smallfilms, the company set up by Oliver Postgate (who was the show's writer, animator and narrator) and Peter Firmin (who was its modelmaker and illustrator). ''Charlie and Lola'' is a British animated children's television series based on the Charlie and Lola children's picture book series by Lauren Child, produced by Tiger Aspect Productions for CBeebies. The series follows a preschool bunny boy named Bing as he experiences everyday issues. ''Bing'' airs on CBeebies in the United Kingdom and Ireland and S4C in the Welsh language. Big Cook, Little Cook
''Big Cook, Little Cook'' is a British children's television series created by Adrian Hedley for BBC television. The programme is set in the kitchen of a café, with two chef characters: Big Cook Ben and Little Cook Small. CBeebies aired repeats on the channel until February 2012. Big Cook and Little Cook are both grown adults, but Small is only a few inches tall and flies around on a wooden spoon. Baby Jake
''Baby Jake'' is a British-Irish children's television programme originally broadcast in the UK. It first aired on 4 July 2011. Baby Jake is also available on BBC iPlayer for over a year and on YouTube. Production The programme cost £1.85 million pounds to produce, and was funded by the Irish Film Board and CBeebies. Darrall Macqueen originated the series and produced the animated elements of the programme through JAM Media. JAM Media are an Irish animation studio who also made ''Tilly and Friends''.
