Andrew White (Australian Politician)
Andrew William Henry White (1859 – 3 November 1936) was an Australian politician. Born in Emerald Hill, Victoria, White attended Williamstown Grammar School before becoming a clerk with the Colonial Bank in 1874, managing the Fitzroy branch from 1879 and the Echuca branch from 1883. He resigned from the bank in 1885 to join James Shackell in the Echuca auctioneering firm Shackell, White & Co. In 1886, he married Mary Leonard, with whom he had two sons. He was mayor of Echuca from 1893 to 1894 and from 1906 to 1907. In 1894 he was elected to the Victorian Legislative Assembly as the member for Rodney, serving until 1897. He purchased the Wharparilla station in 1907 and was Rochester shire president from 1919 to 1929. Andrew White (Irish Cricketer)
Andrew Roland White (born 3 July 1980) is a former Irish cricketer. He played in the 2007 Cricket World Cup in the West Indies, where Ireland reached the Super 8 stage. He is now a P.E. teacher in Grosvenor Grammar school. Andrew is currently the Free Kicks coach at Ards Football Club. Playing career He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler. He played for Northamptonshire, and with Ireland. He also lined up for the Irish Under-19s squad between 1999 and 2000. Andrew White (1579 – December 27, 1656) was an English Jesuits, Jesuit Catholic missionary who was involved in the founding of the Province of Maryland, Maryland colony. Andrew White (22 January 1792 – 3 October 1856) was a British businessperson and politician. Life He was the son of John White (1764–1833) and his wife Jane Young. Born in Bishopwearmouth, he followed his father in becoming a shipowner, also owning coal mines and iron and glass factories. He became a magistrate for Sunderland and County Durham, chair of the directors of the Sunderland Joint Stock Bank, chair of the Sunderland Board of Guardians, a director of the Durham and Sunderland Railway, a commissioner of the River Wear and of Sunderland Bridge. Andrew White (born 22 February 1974, Doncaster, West Riding of Yorkshire) is a writer, filmmaker and broadcaster. He is known for his mellow and distinctive Doncaster-area accent and his friendly, passionate presenting style. He is most associated with the multimedia brand Walks Around Britain for which he is the senior editor and the presenter/producer of the associated TV series. In February 2022, he released his first novel "A New World"; the first story in ''The Walker Mysteries'', a series he created.
