Amphibole ( ) is a group of Silicate minerals#Inosilicates, inosilicate minerals, forming prism or needlelike crystals, composed of double chain tetrahedron, tetrahedra, linked at the vertices and generally containing ions of iron and/or magnesium in their structures.
