All Together (professional Wrestling)
All Together is a series of professional wrestling events organized by United Japan Pro-Wrestling. Initially the All Together event series was organized by Japan's three biggest Professional wrestling promotion, promotions; All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW), New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and Pro Wrestling Noah (NOAH), in response to the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, March 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. The first event was held in Tokyo on August 27, 2011, and the second in Sendai on February 19, 2012. All proceeds from the events were donated to Japanese Red Cross. The events featured no Narrative thread, storylines or Championship (professional wrestling), championship matches, instead they were Glossary of professional wrestling terms#Book, booked as "Card (sports)#Supercard, supercards", putting together combinations of wrestlers from the three promotions that fans would normally not see. 2024 Noto Earthquake
On 1 January 2024, at 16:10 Japan Standard Time, JST (07:10 Coordinated Universal Time, UTC), a 7.6 (7.5) earthquake struck north-northeast of Suzu, Ishikawa, Suzu, located on the Noto Peninsula of Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. The Fault (geology)#Dip-slip faults, reverse-faulting shock achieved a maximum Japan Meteorological Agency seismic intensity scale, JMA seismic intensity of ''Shindo 7'' and Modified Mercalli intensity scale, Modified Mercalli intensity of X–XI (''Extreme''). The shaking and accompanying tsunami caused widespread destruction on the Noto Peninsula, particularly in the towns of Suzu, Ishikawa, Suzu, Wajima, Ishikawa, Wajima, Noto, Ishikawa, Noto and Anamizu. The is a professional wrestling tournament held each August by the New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) promotion. Though it has sometimes been held as a single-elimination tournament, it is usually – and currently – held as a round-robin, with the most victorious wrestlers in each pool wrestling in a short tournament to decide that year's winner. Since 2012, the winner of the tournament earns the right to challenge for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at the following January's Wrestle Kingdom show. In its current format, the tournament lasts four weeks. The winner of each pool is determined by a points system; two points for a victory, one point for a draw, and zero points for a loss or no contest. Nippon Budokan
The , often shortened to simply Budokan, is an indoor arena in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. It was originally built for the inaugural Olympic judo competition in the 1964 Summer Olympics.
