Alex David O'Connell (born June 2, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils men's basketball, Duke Blue Devils and Creighton Blue Jays men's basketball, Creighton Blue Jays. High school career O'Connell attended Milton High School (Georgia), Milton High School in Milton, Georgia 30 miles north of Atlanta, Georgia, Atlanta. As a junior, he averaged 22.1 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game earning Georgia Class 6A All-State honors. Recruiting O'Connell was rated as four-star recruit in the class of 2017. The Duke Blue Devils men's basketball team represents Duke University in NCAA Division I college basketball and competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).
