Silvio Alejandro Martínez (born 12 July 1997) is an Argentine footballer who plays mainly as a left winger for Brazilian club Ceará, on loan from Talleres de Córdoba. Career Born in González Catán, Buenos Aires, Martínez began his career with local side Club Atlético Atlas in the Primera D Metropolitana in 2017. In 2019, he moved to fellow league team Sportivo Barracas. On 24 July 2020, Primera C Metropolitana side Argentino de Merlo announced the signing of Martínez. The following 5 February, he moved straight to Primera Nacional, signing for Defensores de Belgrano. On 15 July 2021, Martínez was loaned to Primera División side Central Córdoba. The following 18 March, the club bought 50% of his economic rights, signing him permanently. On 7 January 2023, after scoring eight goals for Central Córdoba, Martínez moved abroad and joined Liga MX side Tijuana. González Catán
González Catán is a city located in La Matanza Partido, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. The city is the second-largest by area in the county (52 km²), and the second most-populous. The city is located near the southwestern end of the Greater Buenos Aires metropolitan area, from Buenos Aires along National Route 3 (Argentina), Route 3. Overview The settlement is the oldest one in La Matanza County, and was founded in 1570 as a garrison by a Conquistador, Captain Juan de Garay. The CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as Copa Libertadores de América (), is an annual continental club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 1960. It is the highest level of competition in South American club football. The tournament is named after the '' Libertadores'' (Spanish and Portuguese for ''liberators''), the leaders of the Spanish American wars of independence and Brazilian Independence, so a literal translation of its former name into English is "''Liberators of America Cup''". The Leagues Cup is an annual soccer competition between clubs from Major League Soccer (MLS), the main soccer league in the United States, and Liga MX, the main soccer league in Mexico. It is hosted in Canada and the United States. It began in July 2019 with four teams from both leagues participating. The first edition was a single-elimination tournament hosted in the United States with a final played in Whitney, Nevada, near Las Vegas, on September 18, 2019. The Copa de la Liga Profesional (English: ''Professional League Cup''; officially named "Copa Diego Armando Maradona" in its first edition) was an official Argentine football cup competition. The cup was planned and organised by the "Liga Profesional de Fútbol", a body linked to the Argentine Football Association (AFA) that replaced the defunct Superliga Argentina. This cup was conceived as a contingency competition after the schedule for a regular league season had been repeatedly delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
