Ale (album)
''Ale'' is the eighth studio album by Italian singer Alexia (Italian singer), Alexia released in 2008. The album is the first release on the Edel label after Alexia left Sony Music in 2007 and was the first studio album Alexia had released since 2004's ''Gli occhi grandi della luna''. The album was released in Italy on CD on 27 June 2008 and for digital download the next day. A version which included the song Biancaneve (song), Biancaneve was released in Europe on 24 July 2009. Two singles were released from the album: "Grande coraggio" which had two videos filmed, one of which contained clips of Alexia in the studio recording the album and at the album photoshoot which was used to promote both album and single; "Guardarti dentro" was the second single and as it was just a one track digital release which did not differ from the album, no separate download track was issued. Ale (woreda)
Ale is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Illubabor Zone, Ale is bordered on the south by the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region, on the west by Nono, on the northwest by Bure, and on the northeast by Metu. Towns in Ale include Ale, Gore and Leka. Didu woreda was part of Ale woreda. Rivers in Ale include the Moro Kala and Waffa, both part of the drainage area of the Baro. High points include Mount Sidi. Coffee is an important cash crop of this woreda. Over 50 square kilometers is planted with this crop. Demographics The 2007 national census reported a total population for this woreda of 64,266, of whom 32,034 were men and 32,232 were women; 9,048 or 14.09% of its population were urban dwellers. The plurality of inhabitants were Moslem, with 37.22% of the population reporting they observed this belief, while 33.48% of the population said they practised Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity, and 29.12% were Protestant. Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination
The Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE, 香港高級程度會考), or more commonly known as the A-level, conducted by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA), was taken by senior students at the end of their matriculation in Hong Kong between 1979 and 2012. It was originally the entrance examination in University of Hong Kong until the introduction of the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS) in 1992, which made it the major university entrance examination for all local universities until academic year 2011/2012. The examination was conducted from March to May, and the results were routinely released in the first week of July (or late June). Automatic Link Establishment, commonly known as ALE, is the worldwide de facto standard for digitally initiating and sustaining HF radio communications. ALE is a feature in an HF communications radio transceiver system that enables the radio station to make contact, or initiate a circuit, between itself and another HF radio station or network of stations. The purpose is to provide a reliable rapid method of calling and connecting during constantly changing HF ionospheric propagation, reception interference, and shared spectrum use of busy or congested HF channels. Mechanism A standalone ALE radio combines an HF SSB radio transceiver with an internal microprocessor and MFSK modem. The material point method (MPM) is a numerical technique used to simulate the behavior of solids, liquids, gases, and any other continuum material. Especially, it is a robust spatial discretization method for simulating multi-phase (solid-fluid-gas) interactions. In the MPM, a continuum body is described by a number of small Lagrangian elements referred to as 'material points'. These material points are surrounded by a background mesh/grid that is used to calculate terms such as the deformation gradient. The Apple Lossless Audio Codec (ALAC, ), also known as Apple Lossless, or Apple Lossless Encoder (ALE), is an audio coding format, and its reference audio codec implementation, developed by Apple for lossless data compression of digital music. After initially keeping it proprietary from its inception in 2004, in late 2011 Apple made the codec available open source and royalty-free. Accumulated local effects (ALE) is a machine learning interpretability method. Concepts ALE uses a conditional feature distribution as an input and generates augmented data, creating more realistic data than a marginal distribution. It ignores far out-of-distribution (outlier) values. Unlike partial dependence plots and marginal plots, ALE is not defeated in the presence of correlated predictors. It analyzes differences in predictions instead of averaging them by calculating the average of the differences in model predictions over the augmented data, instead of the average of the predictions themselves.
