Alberto Rodríguez Acosta
Alberto Rodríguez Acosta (June 5, 1871 – February 10, 1963) was a Cuban Brigadier General of the Cuban War of Independence. He was known for commanding the Second Division of the V Corps and would primarily operate in actions within the Invasion from East to West in Cuba. Military career Rodríguez Acosta was born in the town of Alacranes which was a municipality of Unión de Reyes on August 7, 1869. Enlisting at a young age, he would participate in the Cuban War of Independence, beginning on February 24, 1895. Between October 1895 and January 1896, he would participate in the Invasion from East to West in Cuba, gaining the trust of José Miró Argenter. He was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel four months later and given command of the 1st Infantry Regiment Battalion. Alberto José Rodriguez-Saá (born August 21, 1949) is an Argentine lawyer and politician. He was Governor of San Luis Province on two separate occasions. He was presidential candidate for the center-right peronism, Orthodox and Federal Peronism, in 2007 and 2011. The Rodriguez-Saá family is well known in the Province of San Luis and can be traced to the nineteenth century and to descendants of the Federalist revolutionary Juan Saá, an important figure in the Argentine Civil Wars of the mid nineteenth century. His brother, Adolfo Rodríguez-Saá, was governor of San Luis from 1983 until 2001, when he became interim President of Argentina, resigning after a week. Alberto Rodriguez (born 1953) was a Puerto Rican member of the FALN who received a sentence of 35 years for seditious conspiracy and other charges. Alberto Rodríguez Barrera (born 1 April 1974) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a defender. His last game was a 2012 Copa Libertadores match against Paraguayan side Libertad after being called from Cruz Azul Hidalgo along with 2002 World Cup teammate Melvin Brown under petition of Cruz Azul's coach then, Enrique Meza, who also coached him at Pachuca.
