Economic importance As of 2017, agriculture in Michoacán, including livestock, formed the state’s primary economic industry. Of particular importance is the avocado sector; Mexico produces more avocadoes than any other country, and Michoacán is the primary growing area. Turicato
Turicato is a Municipalities of Michoacán, municipality in the Mexico, Mexican List of states of Mexico, state of Michoacán. Turicato comes from the word "turicata" that refers to a parasite that lives mainly in areas where there is cattle. The municipality represents 2.62% of total land in the states of Mexico, state. Tingambato
Tingambato is a municipality in the Mexican state of Michoacán. Its municipal seat is the city of the same name. The municipality has an area of 188.77 square kilometres (0.32% of the surface of the state) and is bordered by the north by the municipalities of Nahuatzén and Erongarícuaro, to the east by Pátzcuaro and Salvador Escalante, to the south by Ziracuaretiro, and to the west by Uruapan. Los Reyes, Michoacán
Los Reyes is a municipality in the Mexican state of Michoacán. Salvador Escalante
Santa Clara del Cobre () is a Magical town ( Pueblo Mágico) and municipality located in the center of the state of Michoacán, Mexico, 18 km from Pátzcuaro and 79 km from the state capital of Morelia. While the official name of the municipality is Salvador Escalante, and the town is often marked as "Villa Escalante" or "Salvador Escalante" on maps, both entities are interchangeably called Santa Clara del Cobre. Hass Avocado
The Hass avocado is a variety of avocado with dark green, bumpy skin. It was first grown and sold by Southern California mail carrier and amateur horticulturist Rudolph Hass, who also gave it his name. The Hass avocado is a large-sized fruit weighing 200 to 300 grams (7 to 10 oz). When ripe, the skin becomes a dark purplish-black and yields to gentle pressure.
