Agatha Raisin (TV Series)
''Agatha Raisin'' is a British comedy-drama television series, based on M. C. Beaton's book series of the same name about a former PR agent who solves crime mysteries in the Cotswolds village of Carsely. The programme was broadcast as a pilot titled '' Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death'' on 26 December 2014, followed by an eight-part series that first aired on Sky One on 7 June 2016. A second series was ordered by Acorn TV on 15 January 2018. On 27 February 2019, the show was commissioned for a third series. Later, it was renewed for a fourth series, and then a fifth. Cosy Mystery
Cozy mysteries (also referred to as cozies) are a sub-genre of crime fiction in which sex and violence occur offstage, the detective is an amateur sleuth, and the crime and detection take place in a small socially-intimate community. Matt McCooey (born 27 May 1981) is a British–Japanese actor best known for his role as DC Bill Wong in the television programme '' Agatha Raisin''. Early life McCooey is the son of author and journalist Chris McCooey and Kumiko Aoki. He was born in Nagoya, Japan, where his father was a lecturer and subsequently Associate Professor at Nagoya University of Commerce. He studied acting in Aberystwyth University and later trained at the Drama Studio, London, which he graduated in 2004. Jason Vincent Barnett (born 21 April 1976) is an English former Association football, footballer who made 207 appearances in the Football League for Lincoln City F.C., Lincoln City between 1995 and 2002. Biddestone is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Biddestone and Slaughterford, in northwest Wiltshire, England, about west of Chippenham and north of Corsham.
