José Plácido Domingo Embil (born 21 January 1941) is a Spanish opera singer, conductor, and arts administrator. He has recorded over a hundred complete operas and is well known for his versatility, regularly performing in Italian, French, German, Spanish, English and Russian in the most prestigious opera houses in the world. "Adoro" is a song by Mexican singer-songwriter Armando Manzanero. The song was originally recorded and released by RCA in 1967, becoming one of Manzanero's best known songs. Momento magazine in 1969 reported that the song had already sold 250,000 copies and been recorded in about 60 versions in its first two years. Armando Manzanero Canché (7 December 1934 – 28 December 2020) was a Mexican musician, singer, composer, actor and music producer, widely considered the premier Mexican romantic composer of the postwar era and one of the most successful composers of Latin America. He received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in the United States in 2014. He was the president of the Mexican Society of Authors and Composers (Sociedad de Autores y Compositores de México). Adolfo Fernández (born 21 May 1951) is a Cuban pianist and journalist. Biography Adolfo Fernández was born in Havana, Cuba. Pedro Infante Cruz (; 18 November 1917 – 15 April 1957) was a Mexican ranchera singer and actor whose career spanned the golden age of Mexican cinema. Infante was born in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, and raised in nearby Guamúchil. He died on 15 April 1957 in Mérida, Yucatán, while en route to Mexico City when his plane crashed due to engine failure. From 1939 until his death, Infante acted in over 60 films (30 of them with his brother Ángel Infante, Ángel) and recorded over 350 songs.
