Abdullah Oğuz
Abdullah Oguz (born 17 June 1958 in Istanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish film director and producer. Oguz studied at Marmara University. From 1990 to 2000 he produced and directed commercials, TV series and music videos, and later, feature films. The ''San Francisco Chronicle'' is a newspaper serving primarily the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. It was founded in 1865 as ''The Daily Dramatic Chronicle'' by teenage brothers Charles de Young and M. H. de Young, Michael H. de Young. Bliss (2007 Film)
''Bliss'' (Turkish: ''Mutluluk'') is a 2007 Turkish film directed by Abdullah Oğuz, and starring Özgü Namal, Talat Bulut, and Murat Han. It was chosen to open the 2007 Asian Film Festival in Mumbai and the 2007 Medfilm Festival in Rome. It won the audience prize and the young jury prize at the 2008 Turkish Film Festival in Nuremberg and won the audience award for international films at the 2008 Miami International Film Festival. Also, Mutluluk was rewarded by European Council with the Prix Odyssee Human Rights Award in 2007. Vefa High School Alumni
Vefa is part of the district of Fatih in Istanbul, and lies inside what was once the old walled city of Constantinople. It lies roughly northwest of the eastern section of the Aqueduct of Valens, and is rich in monuments, both Byzantine and Ottoman. It takes its name from the Muslim saint (wali) Shaykh Ebu’l Vefa who is buried locally in his own mosque and dergah. Vefa lies to the east of busy Atatürk Bulvari, the main road pushed through the old city by the French architect Henri Prost in the 1950s.
