''ARC Raiders'' is an upcoming third-person extraction shooter being developed and published by Embark Studios for Windows, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S. The gameplay is PvPvE (player versus player versus environment) and can be played in teams of three, two, or played solo. Setting ''ARC Raiders'' takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where mysterious and deadly "ARC" robots have taken over the surface of the Earth, forcing humanity to live underground. The Game Awards 2021 was an award show that honored the best video games of 2021. The event was hosted by Geoff Keighley, creator and producer of The Game Awards, and was held to an invited audience at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on December 9, 2021.
