The AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup (previously the AFC Women's Futsal Championship before 2021), is the quadrennial premier national women's futsal competition of the Asian Football Confederation nations. 2025 AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup
The 2025 AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup was the third edition of the AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the women's national teams of Asia. The tournament was held between 6 and 17 May 2025 in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China. AFC Futsal Club Championship
The AFC Futsal Club Championship is the current highest Asian futsal club competition, hosted by the Asian Football Confederation. It is futsal equivalent to AFC Champions League. For the inaugural edition, AFC Futsal Committee decided to make it an invitational event, and each member association was asked to nominate their national league champions for the tournament. History and format A trial edition, named 2006 Asia Futsal Cup, was run in 2006 with six teams participating. Iranian team Shensa Saveh beat Uzbek Ardus FC 5–1 in the final. The first recognised edition by the AFC was held in 2010 and ran with ten teams, forming two groups of five teams. The top two finishers then proceeded to the semi-finals. Since 2015 the final tournament is played with 12 teams. If more national league champions wish to enter a team, all but the top three finishers of the last tournament and the host nation, have to enter a qualification stage. The AFC Futsal Asian Cup, previously the AFC Futsal Championship, is the premier international futsal competition for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) national teams. It was first held in 1999 and was played annually until 2008; since then it has been played biennially. From 2021, the tournament was rebranded from the AFC Futsal Championship to the AFC Futsal Asian Cup. Maral Torkaman (Persian: مارال ترکمان; born November 26, 2002) is an Iranian futsal player. She was called up to the Under-14 national football team at the age of 11 and has been a regular member of the women's national football team since then.
