Daniel Ryan (figure Skater)
Daniel Ryan (born c. 1930 - died February 15, 1961) was an American ice dancer who competed with partner Carol Ann Peters. After his competitive career ended, Ryan became a skating coach. He was en route to the World Figure Skating Championships in 1961 with his pupils, Larry Pierce (figure skater), Larry Pierce and Diane Sherbloom, when their plane (Sabena Flight 548) crashed near Brussels, Belgium, killing all on board. Daniel Ryan (born 1968 as Daniel O'Brien) is an English actor and writer. He is known for starring as Darren Alexander in the BBC drama comedy ''Linda Green'', Andrew Gilligan in ''The Government Inspector'', Andy Coulson in '' Steel River Blues'' and Kenny Reed in ''The Whistleblowers''. His stage credits include ''Macbeth'', ''A Midsummer Night's Dream'' and ''Richard III''. Since 2019, he has played DI Tony Manning in '' The Bay''. Early life Ryan was born in Culcheth near Warrington, Cheshire to parents who owned a bingo hall. He and his younger brother attended Culcheth High School. Daniel Ryan (4 April 1865 – 11 December 1952) was a member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Biography Ryan was born in Rockhampton, Queensland, the son of Michael Ryan and his wife Anastasia (née Coohey). He was educated in Melbourne and Bendigo and after finishing his schooling worked as a reporter for the ''Bendigo Advertiser''. Dan Ryan (born June 21, 1962) is an American non-profit executive and politician who is a member of the Portland City Council from District 2. Ryan was elected in a 2020 special election to succeed Nick Fish, who died of stomach cancer on January 2, 2020. Ryan was re-elected in 2022.
