35 (number)
35 (thirty-five) is the natural number following 34 (number), 34 and preceding 36 (number), 36. In mathematics 35 is the sum of the first five triangular numbers, making it a tetrahedral number. 35 is the 10th discrete semiprime (5 \times 7) and the first with 5 (number), 5 as the lowest non-unitary factor, thus being the first of the form (5.q) where q is a higher prime. 35 has two prime factors, (5 (number), 5 and 7 (number), 7) which also form its main factor pair (5 x 7) and comprise the second Twin prime, twin-prime distinct semiprime pair. The aliquot sum of 35 is 13 (number), 13, within an aliquot sequence of only one composite number (35,13 (number), 13,1 (number), 1,0) to the Prime in the 13 (number), 13-aliquot tree. 35 is the second composite number with the aliquot sum 13 (number), 13; the first being the cube 27 (number), 27. 35 is the last member of the first triple cluster of semiprimes 33 (number), 33, 34 (number), 34, 35. The second such triple distinct se ...

At the time, it was known as the Year of the Consulship of Cornificius and Sextus (or, less frequently, year 719 ''Ab urbe condita''). The denomination 35 BC for this year has been used since the early medieval period, when the Anno Domini calendar era became the prevalent method in Europe for naming years. Events By place Roman Republic * Illyria becomes a Roman province. Gaius Julius Caesar Octavian conducts a rendezvous with the Roman fleet under Marcus Vipsanius, which is engaged in clearing the Dalmatian coast of piracy. * Pannonia is attacked by Octavian Caesar, who conquers and sacks the stronghold Siscia ( Sisak) of the Segestani, which is taken after a 30-d ...

Bromine
Bromine is a chemical element; it has chemical symbol, symbol Br and atomic number 35. It is a volatile red-brown liquid at room temperature that evaporates readily to form a similarly coloured vapour. Its properties are intermediate between those of chlorine and iodine. Isolated independently by two chemists, Carl Jacob Löwig (in 1825) and Antoine Jérôme Balard (in 1826), its name was derived , referring to its sharp and pungent smell. Elemental bromine is very reactive and thus does not occur as a free element in nature. Instead, it can be isolated from colourless soluble crystalline mineral halide Ionic salt, salts analogous to table salt, a property it shares with the other halogens. While it is rather rare in the Earth's crust, the high solubility of the bromide ion (Br) has caused its Bromine cycle, accumulation in the oceans. Commercially the element is easily extracted from brine evaporation ponds, mostly in the United States and Israel. The mass of bromine in the oce ...

35 Leukothea
35 Leukothea is a large, dark asteroid from the asteroid belt. It was discovered by German astronomer Karl Theodor Robert Luther on April 19, 1855, and named after Leukothea, a sea goddess in Greek mythology. Its historical symbol was a ''pharos'' (ancient lighthouse); it is in the pipeline for Unicode 17.0 as U+1CED0 𜻐 (). Leukothea is a C-type asteroid in the Tholen classification system, suggesting a carbonaceous composition. It is orbiting the Sun with a period of and has a cross-sectional size of 103.1 km. Photometric observations of this asteroid from the Organ Mesa Observatory in Las Cruces, New Mexico during 2010 gave a light curve In astronomy, a light curve is a graph (discrete mathematics), graph of the Radiance, light intensity of a celestial object or region as a function of time, typically with the magnitude (astronomy), magnitude of light received on the ''y''-axis ... with a rotation period of hours and a brightness variability of in magn ...

III-V
Semiconductor materials are nominally small band gap insulators. The defining property of a semiconductor material is that it can be compromised by doping it with impurities that alter its electronic properties in a controllable way. Because of their application in the computer and photovoltaic industry—in devices such as transistors, lasers, and solar cells—the search for new semiconductor materials and the improvement of existing materials is an important field of study in materials science. Most commonly used semiconductor materials are crystalline inorganic solids. These materials are classified according to the periodic table groups of their constituent atoms. Different semiconductor materials differ in their properties. Thus, in comparison with silicon, compound semiconductors have both advantages and disadvantages. For example, gallium arsenide (GaAs) has six times higher electron mobility than silicon, which allows faster operation; wider band gap, which allows ...
