2022 Pahang State Election
The 2022 Pahang state election, formally the 15th Pahang state election, took place on 19 November 2022. This election was to elect 42 members of the 15th Pahang State Legislative Assembly. The previous assembly was dissolved on 14 October 2022. The election for the Tioman (state constituency) was delayed to 7 December following the death of the Perikatan candidate. The election resulted in a hung parliament with Perikatan Nasional emerging as the largest bloc, one seat ahead of the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition government. On 27 November, one week after the election, it was announced that Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail would be reappointed as Menteri Besar at the head of a coalition government consisting of Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan. Pahang State Legislative Assembly
The Pahang State Legislative Assembly ( ms, Dewan Undangan Negeri Pahang) is the unicameral state legislature of the Malaysian state of Pahang. It is composed of 42 members representing single-member constituencies throughout the state. The Assembly convenes at the Wisma Seri Pahang in the state capital, Kuantan. Yang Berhormat Young Syefura Othman (born 10 November 1989), nicknamed Rara, is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bentong since November 2022. She served as Member of the Pahang State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Ketari from May 2018 to November 2022. Lee Chean Chung
Lee Chean Chung () is a Malaysian politician who is currently serving as a Member of Parliament for Petaling Jaya constituency since November 2022. Prior to that, he had served as Member of the Pahang State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Semambu from May 2013 until October 2022.
