2022 Baltimore Ravens Season
The 2022 season is the Baltimore Ravens' 27th in the National Football League (NFL) and their 15th under head coach John Harbaugh. They improved on their 8–9 record from the previous season after their Week 14 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers. After a Week 16 win against the Atlanta Falcons, and a loss by the New England Patriots, they clinched a playoff berth after a one year absence. They are trying to win their first division title since 2019. The Ravens' three preseason victories extended their preseason winning streak to 23 games, which is an NFL record. The American Football Conference – Northern Division or AFC North is one of the four divisions of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The division was adopted after the restructuring of the 2002 NFL season, when the league realigned divisions after expanding to 32 teams. This is the only division in the NFL in which no member team has hosted a Super Bowl in their stadiums. The 2022 season is the ongoing Pittsburgh Steelers' 90th in the National Football League (NFL) and their 16th under head coach Mike Tomlin. This is the first season since 2003 without long-time quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on the roster, as he announced his retirement on January 27, 2022. It is also the first season since 1999 without long-time general manager Kevin Colbert, as he announced on January 28, 2022 that after 22 years with the organization, he would step down following the 2022 NFL Draft. 2021 Miami Dolphins Season
The 2021 season was the Miami Dolphins' 52nd season in the National Football League, their 56th overall, and their third and final year under head coach Brian Flores, and sixth under general manager Chris Grier. Despite a 1–7 start to the season, Miami then won the next seven games, becoming the first team in NFL history to lose seven straight games and then win seven straight games in the same season. The 7-game win streak was their first since the 1985 season. Vincent James Biegel ( ; born July 2, 1993) is an American football outside linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Wisconsin. Early years and family Biegel's father, Rocky, was a linebacker for BYU from 1988–92 and a second-team All-WAC player in 1990. His uncle, T.D., played fullback alongside his father for BYU from 1989–93. His grandfather, Ken Biegel, played linebacker and offensive guard for the division III UW–Eau Claire Blugolds. The 2021 season was the Atlanta Falcons' 56th season in the National Football League, their fifth playing their home games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and their first under general manager Terry Fontenot and head coach Arthur Smith. For the first time since 2010, wide receiver Julio Jones was not on the roster as he was traded to the Tennessee Titans on June 6, 2021. Jones departed Atlanta holding the most career receiving yards and receptions in Falcons franchise history. Michael Pierce (born November 6, 1992) is an American football nose tackle for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Tulane before transferring to Samford and was signed by the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2016. Professional career Pierce was not invited to the NFL combine. Morgan Moses (born March 3, 1991) is an American football offensive tackle for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Virginia and was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Early life and college Moses attended Meadowbrook High School in North Chesterfield, Virginia where he was a two-time all-state, all-region and all-district selection. After originally committing to Virginia, he played one year of prep football at Fork Union Military Academy in order to become academically qualified to attend the University of Virginia to play for the Virginia Cavaliers.
