Will Ainsworth (born March 22, 1981) is an American politician serving who is the 31st lieutenant governor of Alabama, since 2019. He formerly was a representative of the 27th district of the Alabama House of Representatives, a position he was elected to on November 4, 2014. He did not seek re-election in 2018, instead running for lieutenant governor. Ainsworth became the Republican nominee for lieutenant governor after winning the July 17 primary runoff against Twinkle Cavanaugh.
