2019 Emir Of Qatar Cup
The 2019 Emir of Qatar Cup is the 47th edition of the Qatari cup tournament in men's football. It will be played by the first and second level divisions of the Qatari football league structure. The cup winner is guaranteed a place in the 2020 AFC Champions League. The draw of the tournament was held on 15 April 2019. Note: all matches in Qatar time (GMT+3). Al Janoub Stadium
Al-Janoub Stadium ( ar, استاد الجنوب, ʾIstād al-Janūb, Stadium of the South), formerly known as Al-Wakrah Stadium (), is a retractable roof football stadium in Al-Wakrah, Qatar that was inaugurated on 16 May 2019. This is the second among the eight stadiums for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, after the renovation of Khalifa International Stadium. It was designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid (1950–2016) together with the firms AECOM and Jain and Partners of Dubai. The stadium features a curvilinear postmodernist and neo-futurist design. Al-Markhiya Sports Club ( ar, المرخية) is a Qatari multi-sports club, based in the Al Markhiya district of Doha. Its football department plays in the Qatar Stars League. It was widely regarded as the fastest improving team due to it winning the Second Division league 4 times in the first 5 it has taken part of. Boualem Khoukhi ( ar, بوعلام خوخي; born 9 July 1990) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Al Sadd in the Qatar Stars League. Born in Algeria, he is naturalized to represent the Qatar national team. Mehdi Taremi ( fa, مهدی طارمی; born 18 July 1992) is an Iranian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Primeira Liga club Porto and the Iran national team. Al-Gharafa Sports Club ( ar, نادي الغرافة الرياضي) is a Qatari multisports club based in the Al Gharrafa district of Al Rayyan.
